Halladay No-No is Baseball History

Philadelphia Phillies RHP Roy Halladay

Phillies RHP Roy Halladay has just made baseball history as only the second pitcher to throw a no-hitter in the Playoffs since Don Larsen did it for the New York Yankees vs. the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1956 World Series.

The Phillies beat the Cincinnati Reds 4-0 in Game #1 of the National League Divisional Series, while Halladay seems destined to collect the NL Cy Young Award this season.  So much for the critics who said he didn’t have “playoff experience.”

Nuf Ced!
