NORTH EAST BASEBALL
The 2012 Spring season for New England Elite Baseball has started with North East Baseball fielding two competitive 14U teams. Beginning with opening day on April 7th at Littleton High School, the 2012 season covers a 50-game schedule of weekend double-headers through the beginning of July including the NEB Classic and the Cape Cod Wood Bat Classic (NEBA) tournaments. The 2012 14U DirtDogs roster (aka NEB 14U-White) features 14 talented players representing a number of Central Mass. communities.
This year, Matt has continued to focus on pitcher’s conditioning and strength maintenance both off-season and in-season using the Tuff Cuff program by Steve Ellis of the Chicago Cubs organization combined with long-toss and the training principles of Cressey Performance.
LITTLETON TIGERS BASEBALL
The 2012 season for Littleton Tigers Baseball at the Middle School level opens on April 12th with a game vs. Ayer-Shirley. Littleton plays in the Mid-Wachusett League as a member of the MIAA. A 13-game schedule has the Littleton MS Tigers facing off with other middle schools and junior highs in central Massachusetts.
Matt and other members of the Northeast Baseball staff will be lending their talents to the roster. We’ll see how this crew of 7th and 8th grade players stack up against the competition.

WESTFORD WAVES SOFTBALL
The Westford Waves ASA Softball program is wrapping up pre-season practices for the 2012 10U team, and Meredith is on the roster for her inaugural season as a select softball player. The Waves will begin Spring scrimmages in preparation for the Summer tournament season. The 2012 10U Waves will continue to develop the competitive skills necessary for scholastic softball and also participate in other outreach activities to give back to the community.
