Ever have an itch you couldn’t scratch? That was us today when the Opening Game of the Fall season was rained out at the last minute by tropical storm Hannah.
While it was murky all day, many other teams got their games in early. Ours was even moved up from 6:00 to 5:30 pm to beat the Boston storm track, but we weren’t on the field more than 10 minutes for pre-game warmups when Hannah decided to finally let her hair down. All dressed up and nowhere to go.
The makeup is tentatively scheduled for Friday 9/12, which will make for a triple-play weekend with games on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Stay tuned…
