Instant Replay

So Instant Replay has finally arrived! A-Rod benefited from the new technology last night without prolonging the game. It was inevitable and I’m sure it will prove to be more of an asset than a problem in the long run. The key is to keep Instant Replay limited in scope to just dealing with scoring issues: Reviewing questionable home run calls and perhaps close plays at the plate. If Replay ever begins to creep into other areas like second-guessing calls on general baserunning and balls/strikes, the games will take forever to finish and God help us all.
